Why it matters

You can’t improve what you can’t see. The Insights Dashboard translates thousands of searches and conversations into clear metrics and action lists—so marketing, product, and support teams can move together.

From raw chat logs to revenue‑level signals.

Lead conversion tracking

A conversation is useful. A converted visit is something marketing can count.

You decide what counts as a conversion for this service: a handoff to a human advisor, a specialist taking the enquiry, a function such as capturing a lead, a write to HubSpot or Marketo, or a real visitor email landing on the profile. The first matching event wins and is recorded once per visit.

Insights then shows converted versus not, a filter to list those visits, and a badge on the thread for the event that latched. Google Tag Manager can receive the same conversion independently — so GA4 and Insights stay in step without inventing extra events.

Leave the list empty and conversion tracking stays off. Test and admin traffic is excluded, the same as the rest of Insights.

What counts as a conversion

You choose the events. The first match wins and is recorded once per visit — later matches in the same conversation do not overwrite it.

Escalated to a human

The visitor asked for a person, or the service auto-escalated. Counted when assistance is requested, not when an advisor later claims the chat.

Delegated to a specialist

The router selected the agent you name — sales, enrolment, tech support — for that turn.

Agent called a function

A named function finished without error, such as capturing a lead and emailing your team.

Synced to CRM

Visitor-profile sync actually wrote to HubSpot, Marketo, or your custom sync function.

Email captured

A real visitor email was stored on the profile — not a placeholder used as a CRM key.

What it is

A real‑time analytics workspace with filters, drilldowns, and exports. Track answer quality, sentiment, demand, geography, timelines, product mentions, and converted visits—then jump straight to the underlying threads.

Highlights:

  • Count converted visits from the events you define (handoff, specialist, function, CRM, email)
  • Auto‑flag conversations that need human review (policy risk, incomplete answers, unhappy feedback)
  • Visualise answer completeness and agent mix at a glance
  • See campaign impact, sentiment, geo hotspots, and product trends
  • Export charts and tables for decks and BI

Smart triage with human‑review flags

The dashboard automatically flags conversations that are likely to benefit from human attention—such as unclear answers, negative or conflicted sentiment, or safety/brand policy triggers. Review queues are filterable and exportable, so owners can fix content, update FAQs, or follow up with customers.

Filters that match your business

Slice insights by:

  • Date range
  • Products / SKUs
  • Question Type (e.g., Tech Support, Sales, Compatibility)
  • Answer Completeness
  • Converted (matched a lead-conversion event)
  • Email captured (real visitor email on the profile)
  • Billable status
  • User Rating and Sentiment
  • Needs Review (human‑flag queue)

Every filter updates charts, maps, timelines, and tables instantly.

FAQs

Is this only for support?

No. Product and marketing teams use it for demand signals, content gaps, campaign impact, and converted visits.

What is a converted visit?

You define it. Typical events are a handoff to a human, a specialist taking the enquiry, a successful function such as capturing a lead, a CRM write, or a real email on the visitor profile. The first match is recorded once. Insights then lets you filter and chart those visits.

Does conversion tracking require Google Tag Manager?

No. Conversion rules run with GTM off. Enabling GTM with an empty conversion list does not invent conversions. When both are on, the widget can push a lead_converted event to your dataLayer while Insights records the same visit.

Can I see the raw conversations?

Yes—open any metric to jump to the exact threads with timestamps and tags. Converted threads also show a badge for the event that counted.

How does auto‑flagging work?

We combine answer quality checks, rating/sentiment signals, and policy heuristics to queue items for review.

Do we need a BI team to use this?

No. It’s point‑and‑click with export options for deeper analysis.
