Barunga West Council Launches AI Assistant to Support Its Community

We are delighted to welcome Barunga West Council as the newest member of the Airgentic community. Barunga West is a region known for its coastal charm, historic townships and strong sense of community. Positioned at the northern end of the Yorke Peninsula and centred around Port Broughton and Bute, it is an area with a proud local identity and a commitment to serving its residents well.

Airgentic has partnered with the council to deploy an AI powered assistant and enhanced website search, giving residents a faster and more convenient way to find the information they need. Even in its early days, the new assistant has delivered meaningful results for the community.

It has already provided round the clock support so residents can access answers anytime and in any language. It has successfully responded to the vast majority of questions with speed and accuracy. The initiative has drawn encouraging feedback from residents and it has eased the load on the contact centre so council staff can redirect their time to more complex and high value tasks.

For Airgentic, partnerships like this go well beyond a standard rollout. They represent shared values of service, inclusion and responsiveness. Working with the Barunga West team has been a genuine pleasure and we are excited about the benefits this will continue to bring to their community.
