Port Augusta City Council has launched a new AI experience with Airgentic, helping residents, ratepayers, businesses, visitors, and families find trusted council information more easily.

Located at the top of Spencer Gulf, Port Augusta is a gateway to the Flinders Ranges, the outback, and some of South Australia’s most important regional communities. It is a place with a diverse community and a wide range of local information needs.

The new Airgentic experience has been designed to make it faster and easier for people to access clear, trusted answers from the Port Augusta City Council website.

Helping the community find council information faster

Council websites contain a large amount of important information, but finding the right answer can sometimes take time.

The new AI experience helps visitors quickly access information across common council service areas, including rates, waste and recycling, building and planning, parks, community services, facilities, events, and other local services.

By helping people find relevant information more easily, Airgentic supports a smoother digital experience for the Port Augusta community.

Improving digital access for residents and council teams

For councils, AI is not just about adopting new technology. It is about making digital access easier, reducing friction for residents, and helping council teams better understand what their community is asking for.

Airgentic helps people get fast answers while also giving councils greater visibility into the questions, needs, and service topics that matter most to their community.

This can support better digital service delivery and help council teams continue improving the online experience over time.

Supporting Port Augusta City Council

Airgentic is proud to support Port Augusta City Council as it continues to improve digital access for its community.

A huge thank you to Matthew Sayner for championing this project and helping bring the vision to life.

We would also like to thank Simon McMahon from LGA South Australia for his support in helping deploy Airgentic across the Port Augusta City Council website.

We are excited to see how this new experience helps the Port Augusta community connect with the information they need, when they need it.
